The specific operation process is as follows:
1. Empty container transfer application
After the confirmation of “Hutaitong” business, the customer will provide the following information to us: shipping company, container type, container volume, and ETD;
If Taicang is not indicated at the container unloading point, we will contact the booking agent, the service center will be responsible for transportation of the empty containers from Shanghai port to Taicang port.
The shipping companies that the service center can apply empty containers are: CMA, EVG, HMM, KKC, HLC, MSC, NS, OOCL, WHL, etc. Other owner of vessel, you can please contact us at any time to inquire, we can check the container source on site.
If the customer can solve the empty container transportation demand by himself, the above steps are omitted.
2.Shanghai truck team will print receipt for container pickup.
3.Booking space
The application for empty container transfer is completed, we are responsible for booking the space.
Including the wharf loading and unloading fee of Taicang and Shanghai port, and the barge booking charges.
4.Application for the pickup of empty container in Taicang port
We send an Email to the service center for the pickup application of empty container;
The service center will review the application, and notify the wharf to release the container.
5.Apply for handover form
We are responsible for contact with designating the tuck team and the service center to align the time of applying for the handover form;
The truck team needs to receive the seal from the service center within the appointed time.
6.Pick up the empty container and loading
Pick up empty container at Taicang Zhenghe International Wharf (South Phase III + Phase IV);
After loading, the truck will registration in Taicang Port System.
7.Ship allocation
After the completion of loading, we will send the seal number to service center for ship allocation
Transportation T/T: At present, the congestion is alleviated, and ships are basically allocated within 1-2 days of arrival.
8.Judphone will handle customs clearance via own customs broker
